I've been a creator all of my life, however, it's taken until 2025 to have the courage to call myself an artist.
My degree is in Social Science, and my works are greatly influenced by sociology, water, found objects, nature, and nourishment.
I am from a mixed heritage, an avid swimmer, outdoor enthusiast, creator of delicious things, and Mom of two strong women.

In 2002, I was in a position to create and organize the first consistent gallery walk in Dallas called Uptown Off the Wall. At that time Uptown had more than 40 art galleries and antique shops.

In 2002, I was in a position to create and organize the first consistent gallery walk in Dallas called Uptown Off the Wall. At that time Uptown had more than 40 art galleries and antique shops.
Due to escalating real estate prices, they are no longer there, however, the spirit of that moment in time lives on in other neighborhoods, as one by one, the small specialty art retail scattered throughout the city's other vibrant neighborhoods and created their own gallery nights.
