It was another lucky day. It was cloudy but bright blue. While shooting, the skies turned dark, and rain could be seen in the distance before the storm hit in Taos. 

The original structures on the Pueblo Reservation Historic site were built between 1300 and 1450. The original Church was built between 1610 and 1612. Maybe it's the former developer in me or because I am a very private person - I do believe the best way to capture native people is through the beauty of the place they call home.

San Francisco de Asís Mission Church in Taos has been painted and photographed by many renowned artists since it was built in 1772. This structure replaced another church, built hundreds of years prior to this one, on this same site. More photos of this will be added in the coming months.
