LILITH, From the series Garden of Eden. | According to ancient folklore, Adams’s 1st wife was Lilith. Legend has it that Adam demanded God send her away because she wouldn't obey him. Until the late 20th century, Lilith had a reputation as a seductress, stealer of babies, and a demon in hiding. To many, Lilith is hailed as a matriarch whose love language was neither obedience nor dominance but rather the symbol of mutual respect, autonomy, independent thought, good humor, and sexual awareness.
